The Old Leverett Cemetery

Fifth grade students in Mary Bates' class visited the old cemetery on Montague Road and spent a long time respectfully reading gravestones, and feeling the historical importance and the natural beauty of the site. They then chose an image that they felt most strongly about to photograph, which they would later write poetry about. Most of the students chose to write haiku poetry.
