THE REVOLUTION by CMan

In a dreary New York City, in the year 2040, Ryan was walking down the street. He was walking back to The Hangout. The Hangout was an abandoned apartment building where all the kids without parents went.
Ryan’s dad was in the army and was probably dead. His mom was killed for doing something against the government.  The government killed her. Ryan had two friends, Spinner and Chester.
In the Americas, when you turned twenty you were put in the army and transported to London to fight in the war. The war was the Americas against Asia, Europe, Africa, and Australia.
Spinner and Chester were both 18. Ryan would be turning twenty tomorrow.
Ryan got to The Hangout. He went inside to see what was going on. He saw all the little kids going wild and kids eating all the vending machine candy. This was all normal.
He went up to the fifth floor and to room 25. That was where all the older kids usually hung out. He opened the door and saw 5 kids watching TV, one kid reading, and Chester and Spinner eating cookies.
Ryan walked over to a bed looked at a clock. It said 11:54. Ryan slowly went to sleep.
He woke up in the morning on a concrete floor in what he thought was an army van. At once he knew that he had been taken into the army. There were no windows in the van. The van was moving for about twenty minutes.
The van stopped. The doors opened at the back. Two men in camoflage took him by the arms and led him into what looked like a prison. It had barb wire on the top of the fences and what looked like iron walls with no windows.  He knew that this was where people were trained to be fighters.
They took him inside and made him put on all camoflage. They walked him to a room filled with other new men to the army.
Three hours later they were all taken out of the room and walked down a hallway, then Ryan saw another hallway.
He ran down it and out the door.  It led outside. He kept on running until he recognized where he was. He looked behind him and saw that no one was behind him. He ran to The Hangout.
He met Spinner and Chester. They asked him where he had gone. He told them all about how he went to the army base and how he escaped. He then told them to tell everyone to meet in the main room for a meeting. He told all the kids to get bats and pieces of wood. They were going to have a revolution.
They walked out the door. He led all of the kids over to the army base. They all snuck in and surrounded the entrance.
Ryan led a group of older kids in first. They snuck down a hallway. They met a group of guards. They attacked.
Ryan had a kid run out and tell Spinner to lead the rest of the kids in.
They were running down all the hallways taking down everyone in their path with their boards and bats. There were over 150 kids inside the army base. The kids had a advantage because the military men couldn’t shoot them. Ryan called a meeting in an abandoned room.
They had a meeting was for kids 18 and over. They decided that they would call London and tell them to get some men from the European military over here.
They called. A European general told them men would be over in about 2 hours. The kids and the American military guys kept on fighting until the European army arrived.
When the European military got there, Ryan had everyone get out of the army base. Ryan stayed in the army base. He ran down one last hallway He broke open the door to find someone sitting at a big armchair. The man started to laugh.
Ryan called out and two European fighters came. One shot the man in the chair. They ran over to find that it was the leader of the whole American army. After that every fighter for America forfeited. Ryan had won. All of the American fighters then helped rebuild America. Later the European military got on a plane and went back to France. Now that there was not a dictator the war ended.
