BUBBLES IN DANGER by Marshmallow 63

I was sitting in my living room floor when all of a sudden the radio turned on and my brother jumped. I went over to the radio with my baby sister fallowing. My mother and father ran in and asked us why the radio was on. My brother said that I turned it on and my little sister laughed. I looked at my brother. “What is your prob…?”
(Radio went on again) “The satellite has rudely interrupted us up in space telling all families to pack up because a huge meteor is about to hit the planet in two weeks.”
My mother was startled, my father was confused and didn’t know what to say, my brother thought the whole idea was awesome until I told him, “There is a chance everyone will probably die,” and my little sister started crying. I told everyone to calm down and start packing. I had to help my sister pack so I was a little behind on my stuff.

My father got us a space shuttle and split the money with all my neighbors, relatives, and friends.
This whole process was running out of time and every one was getting more and more panicked. All the kids who were going on the same shuttle my family was going on gathered together and made a plan that we would never lose each other.
It was that day, everyone getting aboard the shuttle crunched up in clumps. Like always, my brother was complaining that he’d never see his friends again.
Then all of a sudden the speaker turned on and said that they have been hearing very unusual noises on Mars coming from inside the tunnels these creatures have built. People start to panic, “CREATURES?”
Everyone started to buckle his or her seat belts but my brother refused to buckle. I knew it was dangerous if he didn’t buckle so I had to quickly bribe him with something so I told I would give him half my Halloween candy and then he finally buckled.
We were almost to Mars and my sister kept trying to pop her ears.

*
We were finally there. One at a time everyone got off and was shocked at the surprise of the creatures that they had heard of over the speaker. I got a little startled myself when I walked out. The first thing my sister said when she got out was “Bubbles”. I looked at her, where did you learn to say that? I looked at the creatures. They did look like bubbles. I started calling them bubbles until this group of people came walking over to me and said, “You’ve never seen these things in your whole life and you’ve already named them!”
I didn’t know what to say but all I knew was I had to them the truth. “I didn’t name them my little baby sister named them.”
They walked away like I was pathetic.

It had been three weeks and everyone was really nice to one another.
All the people started eating the bugs that live inside the ditches on Mars and drink the blood of the “Double Crosser Mosquitoes” that are at least half a foot and are very rare around Mars.
My dad was so irritated by the rule of having to wake up at 5:00 every morning to go look for food.
People started to get more and more frustrated by the days with no food and having to wake up so early. I personally love it because I got to study the bubbles more and learn their characteristics and how they live.

For technology people have been using the space shuttle vehicles in the back compartment where all the engines was stored.
We have been meeting at least every other week to discuss the rules in our new exotic society. My parents have come up with really good rules like people can only have a car if at least five families own it just until they can get more vehicles. The only problem is that the government is not taking any more suggestions and thinking of their own. I said to my parents, “Have you ever thought that maybe the bubbles could have done this?”
“Done what”, said my dad.
“Thrown the meteor down at earth to get us to move here and help them to make them a better society.”
I could tell my dad was thinking that’s not possible and that they don’t even have a brain.
“I’ll put it in the suggestion box and see what other people think about it. We need as many comments and suggestion as possible.
“Why do we need that?”
“So that we can find the right answer of what happened to our society and fix it so that hopefully were back on earth.”

After the idea that maybe the bubbles caused the meteor to fall on earth got around, people were getting a little suspicious about what’s up with the bubbles.
Lately people have been calling the bubbles aliens and think that we should kill them. I told my dad to tell them not to kill them because first they should bring the bubbles to a lab and test to see if they are dangerous or not. My dad said, “All they do is scare people and suck their blood, and they have killed a few people.” I asked if they did this to get our attention for some reason. I was thinking to myself, We need to think more about how these bubbles feel about this whole thing and know that were not meaning to destroy their habitats if we are.

Many people have been talking a lot about religion and freedom. All I think is “forget it”. Wait till we start to have a society. Of course people are still really in their bibles, praying to g-d, and still celebrating the holidays.
We got a signal south of Mars, said that there has been humans that think the bubbles are aliens and destroyed earth on purpose so they decided to attack them. I screamed when I heard the news.
“This is terrible, we have to go there and stop them!”

*

It took awhile to stop the people from invading more of the bubbles’ lands. But we managed to stop them and now they’re in the science lab getting tested to see if they are dangerous or even poisonous.
We finally got good news from the scientists that the bubbles are not dangerous nor are they poisonous. The bubbles are just a little territorial over where they live. I can definitely understand that especially if they’ve never seen such things (humans).

One morning I woke up with the sound of a bubble in my ear talking to me. I got up startled, staring straight down at a bubble.
I said, “Hi, who are you”, and the first thing I got in response was,
“We will help with your world if your people help us with ours.”
I said, “Only if your creatures talk to my people.”
“They can’t understand us creatures unless they believe in us and that we really do talk.” Said the bubble.
“I’m sorry I never caught your name.”
“My name is Tortus, and yours?”
“Maria, but people call me Marie.” I was thinking to myself, I have to somehow tell my dad about the conversation I had with Tortus (the bubble) and see if he’ll go with the flow and not freak out about the fact that I’m talking to a bubble.

I went downstairs and saw my parents and brother and sister sitting on the ground looking very glum. “What’s wrong”, I asked.
My mother took me away from the group and said, “Were moving.”
I yelled so loud that I think I woke everyone who was still sleeping. I ran to my dad and said, “We can’t move!”
“Why”, everyone asked.
“Because I just had a bubble speak to me and he said that he would get all his bubble scouts to help rebuild our world if we help them with their world.”
I didn’t know exactly what to say after that. So I stood there looking really confused on what I even did say. Everyone laughed.

My dad came to me and said, “ I didn’t want to look like a fool so I also laughed. But, I would definitely love to meet this creature you speak of.”
“He will only speak to you if you believe in them.”
	“How do I do that?”
“Easy, you just have to think to yourself, is he really talking to me, and if you can have a conversation then you really do believe in them.”
	“So where is he?”
“He is in my room waiting for you. Here he is.”
“So, he’s not that bad looking after all.”
“Who is he?” said the bubble.

*

I could tell my dad understood that by the expression on his face. He looked very shocked. He asked if he could leave the room for one second. So I said, “Yes, but only if he didn’t talk to anyone about it.”
He came to me and said to me, “We have to tell the council about this. They will get every one to listen up and let the bubbles speak, if they can even get people to believe in the bubbles.
It was that day my dad and I going to the council and getting everyone out of those bubble phantoms.
When we got to the councils they said, “What are you ding here trying to save the world.”
I immediately told my dad to drop it and ignore what he said.
“We would like for everyone to listen up and do as we say, I said.
“So do we do that?”
“We have to listen to those bubbles out there.”
“We, have to listen to the bubbles out there.”
“Yes, in order to save our planet.”
They finily got it on the news and people did as they were told. Their planet is back in shape and everyone is happy.
