2105 by Matoy

It was the year 2105. Four cities had been built on the moon. Bob lived in New Washington (one of the four cities on the Moon.)
Bob was sitting on the floor of his room thinking of ways to get people’s attention about how there were no police to enforce the law on the moon. If he didn’t get their attention soon, everyone on the moon would most likely die because people would destroy the power and air plants and without them, the people would have no air or power.
The government didn’t believe him. They were too busy building more houses and factories so they could sell more land to make more money.
What if I go to Earth and get their attention, Bob said to himself. No, that would never work. It was late and Bob was tired, so he went to bed.
“BANG BANG BANG!” Bob sat up in bed. Someone was knocking at the door. He grabbed his laser pistol and stuffed it in his pocket. He wasn’t very well-liked by people in New Washington because they thought he was annoying, so he was armed at all times.
“BANG BANG BANG!” came the knock again. He went to the door hand in his pocket. He was about to open the door when it suddenly crashed down on him. A man with blonde hair wearing a tuxedo was standing in the doorway pointing a laser rifle at his head.
“Get up,” he said.
Bob kicked the door up at the stranger, causing him to fall to the ground and drop his rifle. Bob aimed his laser pistol at the stranger’s head. The stranger quickly took a knife out of his pocket and threw it at Bob’s pistol, knocking it to the ground.
The stranger got up and ran away, leaving his laser rifle on the ground. Bob picked up the laser rifle.
“Bob!” yelled a voice. “What was all that noise?” It was Jason his neighbor.
“I was a-attacked.” Bob said.
“Yeah right,” said Jason. “Keep it down!” Jason turned around and walked into his house.
Bob couldn’t sleep, so he decided to take his mini-spaceship for a ride.
I think I’ll go to New Florida.
He was flying over New Florida’s power and air plants when suddenly they all blew up. People started running toward the power and air plants. The rest were evacuating New Florida. He saw a ship flying away.
Out of the corner of his eye Bob saw four ships taking off. It took him a moment to realize they were after him. He turned around and went as fast as he could but they didn’t give up. They started shooting him. He barreled to the left and made a u-turn.
He was going 435 mph but the other ships were gaining. One of the ships shot and hit Bob’s left wing. He turned around and shot the four ships down. He was desperate to get back home, so he went 675 mph all the way home. He landed and went into his house. He went into his room and crawled into bed. He fell asleep.
Bob woke up the next morning with a note sticking to his head. He took it off. It said:

Dear bob,
You are probably wondering why I attacked you the other day. I attacked you because I needed the keys to your mini spaceship but you put up a pretty good fight so I ran away and stole someone else’s mini spaceship. I then took the spaceship and flew to New Florida’s air and power plants and placed little bombs on them. I took off and detonated the bombs. Then I saw a ship and flew away. I told my henchmen to chase you and kill you, but you killed them.
So in the middle of the night I snuck into your house and stuck this note to your head.
At around 11 am, I am going to bring an army and destroy new Washington’s power and air plants. I am doing this because I don’t think it is right to live on the moon because it is a moon, not a planet. So I am going to destroy life on the moon. It is also a lawless society and I’ve heard that you think so too, and I respect you for that. So I’m giving you a chance to escape. Sincerely,

Minutes later, Bob approached the capital building and knocked. A man answered the door.
“Can I help you sir?”
“I need to see Governor Jackson, NOW!” The man left and came back with Gov. Jackson. Bob explained the situation to Jackson.
“I understand. Meet me at the power and air plants in an hour. Gather all the men you can. Goodbye Bob.” Then he left.
Bob went to every house in New Washington and gathered all the men he could. He told everyone that Jackson sent him so they would believe him. A couple of the men didn’t believe him and closed the doors of their houses in Bob’s face. When he was done, he had about 350 people. He then took them to the power and air plants where they were given weapons and positions.
It had been 4 hours and there wasn’t a sign of anyone coming. Governor Jackson approached Bob.
“Bob, it’s been four hours and no one has come. I’m going to tell everyone to go home.”
“You can’t.” said Bob.
Then a man shouted, “There!”
A bunch of men were approaching with weapons.
“Fire!” shouted Jackson. They all fired. Men were falling but they weren’t giving up. They were firing back. Bob had a laser gun 2100. He shot a few men down with it. They hid behind boulders and jumped out to shoot, but after a while they only had 2 men left, Roger and someone Bob recognized: Jason! Jackson ordered the men to stop shooting.
“You may have won this round, but you won’t win the next,” said roger.
Then he jumped behind a boulder and disappeared.
A few weeks later everyone on the moon gathered at the capital building. Bob was awarded a medal of honor. Police were stationed all over the Moon.

It was 2107; Bob was in his house watching television.
There was a knock at the door. Bob got up and opened the door. It was Jackson.
“Bob, there have been some reports of stolen vehicles and police are saying that people have been attacked.”
“Roger,” said Bob.
