THE LIFE OF BOB by Bob

Bob came home one evening after winning his tenth Ultimate championship in a row.  His wife was cooking dinner while his two kids played video games.  Bob’s regular life was playing professional Ultimate. The season lasted for nine months of the year.
His wife, Diane, was a sixth grade teacher.  Their kids, Carl and Kevin, were twelve and nine years old.
At dinner, Diane asked, “Bob, can you take the kids to school tomorrow?”  “Sure,” answered Bob.
It is unfortunate because Diane works at a different school than the one the kids go to.  “Bob, did you win the championship?” asked Diane.  “Yes,” said Bob.  “That’s the tenth year straight, and I got MVP again.”
They finished dinner and the kids did their homework while the parents cleaned up. After that, the kids played some more video games.
Then they played a game.  By that time it was 9:30, so it was time to go to bed. Bob and Diane put the kids to bed and then went downstairs to do some more work.  They finally went to bed at 10:45.
Bob took the kids to school the next morning.  It took ten minutes to get there.  When he took Carl and Kevin to their classrooms, their friends asked for Bob’s autograph.  That day, Bob went to do some errands, then went home.
It was Friday, and both kids went to friends’ houses for sleepovers.  So Bob and Diane went out to eat.  They went to their favorite restaurant.  After that, they went out to a movie.
The movie ended at 11:00 and they went back home.  When they got home, they had to do a bit of work.  They went to bed at 11:45.  They could sleep late on Saturday because they didn’t have to pick the kids up until 11:00 a.m.
The next day when Bob picked the kids up, they decided to go sledding.  There was lots of snow on the ground.  They had a great time.
In one week it was winter vacation, and they were going to Disney world in Florida.  They loved it.  They visited everything and went on lots of cool rides.
Then they went on another trip to Utah to go downhill skiing.  They had a fantastic time.  It was a seven hour flight.  They played games, watched movies and listened to music on the flight back.  There were screens on the back of the airplane seats.  They came home and unpacked.
The next night, Bob came home and turned on the TV to watch the news.  The reporters announced that two villains were coming to kidnap Bob.  He called Diane in to see the news.
His Ultimate season started in two months.  Bob was concerned, but he did not tell Diane.  They talked about the kidnapping story over dinner.   After that, they did their regular Saturday night routine.
One month went by very quickly.
On Monday, Bob and Diane were expecting the villains but they didn’t come.
“Bob, maybe the kidnappers aren’t coming today,” said Diane.
But that night, the kidnappers came at 1:30 and kidnapped Bob.  Bob left a tracking device that he had bought two weeks earlier for Diane and the kids to use to tell where he was.
The next morning, Diane and the kids noticed that Bob was gone.   That day, they developed a plan to save Bob.   They were going to save Bob that night.  That same night, the kidnappers were planning to rob Bob’s house.
Both the robbers and Diane and the kids were driving and passed each other in their cars.  Diane noticed that it was the robbers.  Diane and the kids were close to the robbers’ hideout, so Diane said, “You boys save Dad and I’ll take care of the robbers.”
When Carl and Kevin got to the robbers’ hideout, there were some guards, but Carl and Kevin beat them up and saved Bob.  Carl and Kevin kicked and punched the guards until they knocked them out.
In the meantime, Diane called the police and asked them to go to her house.  The police got there before the robbers and then when the robbers arrived they were caught and sent to jail.
Diane went back to get the boys and Bob, and everything went back to normal.
When the kids went back to school the next day, they both told their friends about the kidnapping.
The next day, the boys missed school to watch Bob play in the first Ultimate game of the season.  Bob’s team won 20-7.  Bob’s family never had any more problems with villains again.
That year, Bob’s team went on to win the championship.  Bob went on to play fifteen years in professional Ultimate, winning every championship.
