Community Action Pioneer Valley

Community Action provides a wide variety of services to families in the Pioneer Valley, from fuel assistance to support with food insecurity to information about Head Start and early learning programs. Visit their website and/or call 413-475-1570 to be connected to a resource advocate.
The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts

The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts offers a huge network of pantries, mobile food banks, and meal programs for individuals and families in our community who are experiencing food insecurity. Massachusetts Good Neighbor Energy Fund

Massachusetts Good Neighbor Energy Fund provides energy assistance to community members in temporary crisis who are struggling to pay their energy bills and do not qualify for federal or state energy funds.
Community Network for Children

The Community Network for Children serves the towns of Erving, Wendell, New Salem, Leverett, and Shutesbury and offers families with children birth through age 8 free welcome baby bags, playgroups, story hours, parenting workshops, family activities, and more. Free clothing is also available for children through CNC’s Children’s Closet.
Kimball Trust Fund
This fund was established in 1909 by Catherine Kimball and is available to Leverett families who are in need of help purchasing clothing for their children. Any financial assistance from the fund is completely confidential.
