Calling All Volunteers!!

It’s that time of year again. Let’s make the Spring Volunteer Day as successful and as much fun as our day in the fall!

Date: Sunday, May 15th, beginning around 9 a.m. Please come when you can, and stay as long as you can. Every minute helps!

We need carpenters, painters, gardeners, and cleaners of all ages. Children should be accompanied by an adult. The field will be available for play, but the playground may not be accessible while work is taking place.

Projects include:

•  Rebuilding the wooden ramp to the ‘Quiet House’, and working on its roof

•  Repainting the map and lines on the blacktop

•  Helping Dawn with some greenhouse work

•  Spreading mulch

•  Planting flowers

•  Painting the Parent Room and some exterior doors

If you have other ideas about projects that we can work on, please let me know. If you are willing to serve as the ‘fore[wo]man’ for any of the projects above, we would be most appreciative!

LES will provide the basic materials. If volunteers can provide tools, saws, trowels, and other tools (clearly marked), that would be a big help!

We hope to see you on the 15th!!
