PARCC & MCAS Testing in May
The second round of testing will begin next week with MCAS Science tests in Grade 5. PARCC testing will begin the following week in grades 3-6. We expect all students to be in the classroom no later than 8:45 a.m. so that testing can begin promptly. Students who are tardy may not be able to test with their group, and will need to take a make-up test on another day. It is expected that most testing will be complete by 11 a.m. and students will resume their regular schedule. A full night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast are good preparation for the testing.
Schedule:
Thursday, May 7 & 8
MCAS Science – Grade 5
Tuesday, May12—Thursday, May 14
PARCC – Grades 3, 4, 5, & 6
Friday, May 15
PARCC – Grade 6
SCHOOL COMMITTEE MEETING
The School Committee will meet on Monday, May 4th, at 6:00 pm. The agenda for the meeting is attached to this Post. All interested members of the community are welcome to attend.
